Burnt Out?

Not to be cliche, but because I am too tired to come up with any other witty way to say it -- I think I am on fire. I'm burning up, out, and maybe into a crispy marshmallow. This is not to complain, though. I am enjoying the process. The semester is just one long roller coaster of work followed by more work. Luckily there is variety this semester -- all of the work is unrelated and quite disparate in its composition. I'm teaching, studying for my prelims, writing literature reviews in my spare time, finishing a new dissertation proposal, working on creating my own unique Twin Cities GIS in Flash, reading ActionScript tutorials while grading papers, training the dog, doing the dishes, and oh yeah, taking two seminars with loads of reading. This might be the most fun I've ever had in grad school; ironically, this is happens to be at the point I am supposed to be dreading prelims and ready to pull my hair out.

Anyway, I hope to update this a little more regularly in the future. Just wanted to check in to see if anyone is still out there. Suffice to say, I will have more time to write once this semester comes to an end. Ciao for the next indefinite period...
