Bug-Eyed but Finished

I spent the entire weekend trapped in my attic office listening to Atmosphere over the droning of three fans running on high speed. I guess I wasn't trapped as much as possessed. I refused to come downstairs until my in-laws showed up for a birthday party last night at 5:15. Even then, I found myself sneaking upstairs every once in a while to check on my secret project.

It is secret no more. As of noon today, www.ian.muehlenhaus.com has been totally revamped. Gone is the Nation-State of Ian -- though it still exists as a mental map -- and on the scene is "The Atlas of Ian." It will grow over the years, but I have promised myself not until I finish my dissertation or find a real job, whichever comes first.

I probably spent 100 hours working on the campus map version of my site, and there are still a lot of bugs to be ironed out. (After working on this, it does not surprise me that Vista has so many errors -- every time I think I fix something another part of the site reacts by going kaput.) Over all, though, it is completely functional. I'm still trying to track down some lectures from 2005 to post, though...

Feedback is appreciated. There is something really nutty with the back button in the browser, I've realized. So please don't use your browser's buttons. Use the buttons in Flash instead.

Must get ready for this evening's lecture now...
